    • Qualitative design including Reflexive Thematic, Codebook, Matrix, Rapid, Constructivist Grounded Theory, Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis, and other inductive / deductive approaches. Support with various databases including NVivo as well as help with transcription and data cleaning.

    • Quantitative design support such as correlational, descriptive, survey, pre-post test, observational, etc. Help with Stata syntax coding as well as data visualization techniques using Excel.

    • Mixed Methods help to support your concurrent or sequential designs (e.g., explanatory, and exploratory) as well as how to use Excel or NVivo to build matrices or other joint displays.

    • Qualitative such as interviewing (e.g., cognitive, semi-structured, concept elicitation, structured) and focus groups (e.g., nominal). Support for using consensus building methods online or in person with Miro or Menti to gather data systematically.

    • Quantitative such as surveys or questionnaires, observational tools, or standardized measures. Help integrating administrative data (e.g., Census, American Community Survey) with program data to better understand contextual effects.

    • Qualitative such as inductive and deductive analyses, triangulation, and various ways to ensure trustworthiness (e.g., audit trails, reflexivity statements, memberchecking, etc.)

    • Quantitative such as descriptive, correlational, and inferential statistics including regression analyses as well as factor analysis to test the quality of your measures. Missingness and error testing.

    • Mixed methods including how and why to use joint displays or other comparative tools to justify meta inferences analyzing qualitative and quantitative results.

    • Support using particpatory evaluation and research approaches that center community and minimize harm.

    • How to apply Racial Equity Impact Analysis (REIA) tools throughout your project.

    • Arts-based data collection methods including photo and artifact elicitation.

    • Using Excel, R, or other tools to build data visualizations. Principles to improve the readibility and use of your figures.

    • I have an incredible network of colleagues who have additional areas of expertise and may also be available to consult.

    • National child welfare data (e.g., SACWIS, NCANDS, AFCARS, etc.) as well as merging it with Census or other forms of national data.

    • Application of child and adolescent development theories such as the Phenomenological Variant of Ecological Systems Theory.

    • Implementation science principles, in particular how to integrate the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) into an inquiry.

  1. In collaboration with the study PI, tested and revised a qualitative coding scheme to triangulate findings, improving trustworthiness.

  2. Cleaned and analyzed quantitative survey and administrative data using descriptive and inferential statistics (including measurement testing). Provided client with Stata syntax, results, and visualizations to direct their examination of program effectiveness.

  3. Provided Phenomenological study design guidance including hands-on coding and analysis training with Research Assistants.

  4. Provided Rapid Qualitative Analysis (RQA) support including helping to define the codebook, apply and revise it. Produced analytical summaries by domain to describe facilitators and barriers to program implementation using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR).
